In 2018 I took part in the University of Sheffield’s Exploring Play Course.
It was an eye-opening experience that really took me back to my childhood roots of play.
As we grow older, our forms of play may change, but we still carry that same innate desire to play. This course also covered some areas of play I haven’t considered before, such as how those with “disabilities” take and make their own form of play. Exploring play also looked at the timeline of play development from our ancient methods of play through to the digital age.
