Hey Parents and Teachers!
You are more than welcome to download these FREE Printables for class or home use. As a private teacher I know it is hard coming across good material sometimes. So I decided to use my design skills and make these myself. If you find them helpful to use in your sessions, classes or personal use, please give Eduuplay a shout out on your Instagram or Facebook.
The Elevator Game

1.
The Elevator Game was created out of trying to find a fun, but also logical way to organise alphabet tiles for blending practice. I was creating words with students on the table, but it was lacking a bit of fun. So I created this game. I like to use it to practice CVC words, CCVC, CVVC patterns and many more.
Students start from the ground floor and race (blend) their way to the top to the helicopter! Go, go, go!
– It works with small 2cm square tiles or something of your choice. I found a bag of wooden alphabet tiles I will try and get on my shop soon.
2020 Chinese New Year Maze

3.
2020 Chinese New Year maze and colouring in.
2020 is the Chinese Zodiac of the Rat, so I designed this little activity kids can do.
Colour in Roger the Rat and then help him find his New Year orange in the maze!
History:
“The Chinese word for mandarin— ‘kam’ —sounds similar to the word for “gold.” So, having mandarin oranges around the home at New Year is said to bring riches into your life.”

Phonics Chatterbox 1

2.
The Phonics Chatterbox series are created from the nostalgic paper craft game called the “chatterbox.”
Version 1 looks at the topic of space, then as you fold in, we use our numbers to decide which flap to open, which leaves us a our short vowels (a, e, i, o, u) and as an extra, our long vowels (ee, oo, 00).
There are three words in each centre flap to try and blend. Have a go!

Phonics Chatterbox 2

4.
SKILL LEVEL: MEDIUM
Phonics Chatterbox 2 builds with new sounds and longer vocabulary to blend.
Version 2 looks at the topic of sport, then as you fold in, we use our numbers to decide which flap to open, which leaves us some consonant blends (ch, sh, th, Th) and letter combinations (er, ir, ur, ar).
There are three words in each centre flap to try and blend. Have a go!
